Job description

Lead with Purpose. Partner with Impact. As the Client Relationship Manager, you will report to the Director of Operations and serve as a key leader within the operations team. You will oversee client service delivery, drive operational excellence, and partner closely with Investment Advisors to strengthen client relationships and enhance the overall client experience.
In this role, you will provide strategic direction across account management, financial planning support, and client engagement, while ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance across all client activities. You will play a critical role in scaling best practices and contributing to the firm's growth strategy.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead client relationship management efforts, ensuring a high-touch, proactive service model that deepens trust and retention
  • Oversee end-to-end client onboarding, including account setup, asset transfers, and coordination with custodians and internal operations teams
  • Manage complex client service activities, including account maintenance, transactions (wires, transfers, checks), and issue resolution
  • Partner closely with Lead Advisors and Managing Directors to review financial planning assumptions, portfolio strategies, and client recommendations
  • Supervise portfolio implementation activities, including asset allocation, rebalancing, and trade execution in partnership with the Lead Advisors
  • Review and approve client deliverables, including performance reports, financial materials, and presentations
  • Drive CRM and portfolio management system integrity, ensuring all client data, documentation, and compliance records are accurate and up to date
  • Act as a senior point of contact for clients, handling advanced inquiries and providing guidance on account access, reporting, and investment-related questions
  • Participate in client meetings, delivering insights, and strengthening relationships
  • Identify process improvements and efficiencies, partnering with Operations and Leadership to enhance scalability and service delivery
  • Ensure adherence to compliance standards, maintaining audit-ready client files and regulatory documentation

What You Bring:
  • Proven ability to lead client relationships and deliver a high-caliber client experience in a wealth management or financial advisory environment
  • Strong expertise in investment operations, account administration, and client lifecycle management
  • High attention to detail and commitment to compliance, documentation, and operational excellence
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, ensure accuracy, and drive accountability
  • Deep familiarity with custodians, CRM systems, and portfolio management platforms
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience supporting or contributing to financial planning and portfolio construction
  • Working knowledge of asset allocation, portfolio management, and investment strategies
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging directly with clients and senior stakeholders
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership
