As a Client Service Associate, you'll work alongside experienced professionals, build on your existing skills and expertise, and gain a deeper understanding of the Registered Investment Advisor industry. This position is located in Mercer Island. We have a hybrid work environment, and this team currently works in office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:00 - 5:00.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Serving as a liaison between clients and custodians/investment managers, including managing client information and handling all cashiering and money movement requests
  • Scheduling and organizing client meetings and proactively preparing meeting materials
  • Coordinating the new client onboarding process:
    • Opening brokerage accounts, establishing cashiering needs, and setting up online reporting access
    • Updating cost basis, tracking required minimum distributions, and reconciling account information
    • Sending and receiving documents to and from clients and their advisors and investment custodians
  • Entering client data and activity notes in our CRM system

We are looking for a candidate who has:

  • 1-3 years of customer service experience and the desire to provide superior client service in a team-oriented environment
  • Interest in building a career in the wealth management industry
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce CRM and/or Tamarac portfolio accounting (or similar systems) is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, including proper grammar and punctuation
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow established processes consistently
  • Strong prioritization skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently
  • Excellent reliability
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred due to future career path requirements

In terms of pay expectations, we assess each candidate individually based on their experience and qualifications and offer competitive compensation that reflects the value they bring to the team. Base pay typically starts in the range of $60k - $70k plus an annual bonus and a generous benefits package.
