Wealth Management Associate

Location: Fort Worth, TX
Reports To: Managing Director / Lead Advisor

Position Summary

One of our clients is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Wealth Management Associate to support its advisory team in delivering exceptional financial planning and investment management services. This individual will play a key role in trading, investment implementation, financial plan preparation, and day-to-day client service.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial markets, portfolio construction, annuities, life insurance products, and client relationship management within a wealth management environment.

Successful candidates typically have at least two years of client-facing experience providing financial guidance, developing and implementing financial plans, reviewing client accounts and strategies, and maintaining long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct 3-5 client review meetings daily.

  • Review and compare life insurance and annuity products.

  • Research and address complex financial planning questions.

  • Execute trades and manage client accounts on behalf of the practice.

  • Manage model portfolios through industry-standard wealth management platforms.

  • Prepare, update, and maintain comprehensive financial plans.

  • Support advisors in developing investment and retirement planning strategies.

  • Assist with annuity, mutual fund, and managed account transactions.

  • Conduct portfolio reviews, performance monitoring, and account rebalancing.

  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures.

  • Prepare meeting materials, reports, and client follow-up documentation.

  • Coordinate with custodians, carriers, and investment partners to facilitate account operations.

  • Contribute to process improvements and operational best practices.

Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of client-facing experience within a registered investment advisory, brokerage, or financial services environment.

  • Series 7 and Series 66 licenses required, or ability to obtain promptly.

  • Ability to obtain a Texas Life and Health Insurance License within 90 days of hire.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field preferred.

  • Working knowledge of annuities, mutual funds, investment products, and portfolio management principles.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
