What is a wealth builder?

A Wealth Builder is an individual or financial professional focused on strategies and practices to grow and manage personal or client wealth over time. This can involve budgeting, investing, retirement planning, and developing multiple streams of income. Wealth Builders aim to increase net worth by making informed financial decisions, minimizing debt, and leveraging assets. Their goal is to achieve financial security and long-term prosperity for themselves or their clients.

What types of clients does a wealth builder typically work with, and how does this influence daily responsibilities?

A Wealth Builder often works with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, families, and sometimes small business owners who are focused on growing and preserving their financial assets. This client diversity means that daily responsibilities can vary widely and may include conducting financial assessments, creating personalized investment strategies, and providing ongoing education and support. The role requires adaptability and strong communication skills to address each client's unique goals, risk tolerance, and financial situation. Collaboration with colleagues such as tax advisors, estate planners, and investment analysts is common to deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a wealth builder, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Wealth Builder, you need a solid understanding of personal finance principles, investment strategies, and goal-setting, often supported by relevant coursework or certifications like a CFP or CFA. Familiarity with financial planning software, budgeting tools, and investment platforms is typically required. Strong analytical thinking, discipline, and effective communication skills set top performers apart in this field. These abilities are crucial for making informed financial decisions, managing risk, and achieving long-term wealth objectives.

Job description

Meet Guerra Wealth Advisors

At Guerra Wealth Advisors, we’re redefining what it means to build wealth, retire confidently, and experience elite financial guidance. For over 40+ years, we’ve served families across South Florida and nationwide with a boutique, relationship-first approach to retirement and wealth planning.

But what truly separates us is our people.

We are building a team of high-performance closers, relationship builders, and consultative sales professionals who thrive in fast-paced, income-driven environments. Whether your background is in outside sales, mortgage lending, insurance, luxury sales, real estate, or financial services — if you know how to build trust, close business, and create long-term client relationships, we want to meet you.

At Guerra Wealth Advisors, you won’t spend your time cold calling, prospecting endlessly, or buried in paperwork. Our infrastructure is designed so you can focus on what you do best:

Meeting with qualified prospects, building relationships, delivering value, and closing business.

With a fully built marketing, appointment-setting, onboarding, and client service team behind you, this is an opportunity to scale your income and career without building everything from scratch.

If you’re highly competitive, coachable, confident in front of clients, and motivated by uncapped earning potential — this role was built for you.

Role:

The Wealth Advisor at Guerra Wealth Advisors is a client-facing strategist and trusted partner, helping clients navigate their financial journeys. You will develop tailored financial plans, manage portfolios, and implement tax-efficient strategies while cultivating meaningful relationships.

This role is ideal for strong closers who know how to lead conversations, uncover client needs, overcome objections, and confidently ask for the business.

You do not need to come from a traditional wirehouse or advisory background to succeed here. We are open to professionals from outside sales, mortgage lending, insurance, banking, real estate, luxury sales, and consultative business development backgrounds who have a proven history of production and relationship-building.

There should be no Wealth Advisor earning under $120,000 annually.

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to understand client goals, risk tolerance, and financial situations.

  • Develop personalized financial plans covering investment, retirement, tax, estate, and legacy strategies.

  • Monitor and adjust investment portfolios to align with market conditions and client objectives.

  • Implement tax-efficient strategies and coordinate with tax professionals when needed.

  • Communicate complex financial concepts clearly, fostering trust and understanding.

  • Conduct regular client meetings to update, educate, and address concerns.

  • Identify opportunities to expand services within existing client relationships.

  • Stay informed on industry regulations, compliance requirements, and tax law changes.

  • Pursue ongoing education to deepen financial planning knowledge and maintain professional certifications.

  • Collaborate closely with the lead generation and administrative teams to ensure seamless client experience.

  • Proven track record of closing business and generating production
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confident presenter with strong in-person presence
  • Highly coachable and performance-driven mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, accountability-focused environment
  • Active Series 65 required (to obtain within first 90-days of employment)
  • Life & Health (2-14 or 2-15) license required (to obtain within first 90-days of employment)
  • Spanish-speaking strongly preferred, but not required

What We Are Expecting:
  • Trusted advisor relationships built on credibility, professionalism, and client-focused service.

  • Growth in client base and assets under management through exceptional service and referral generation.
