POSITION OVERVIEW

An Associate Wealth Advisor at Perigon Wealth Management will play an integral role in supporting Wealth Advisors (lead advisor) while gaining hands-on experience in wealth management. The associate is responsible for formulating and implementing advice but may also rely on technical specialists to develop recommendations. Associate Wealth Advisors have 2-5 years of industry experience and can manage existing client relationship either working with a more experienced advisor or on their own. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about helping clients achieve their financial goals, eager to grow professionally, and interested in learning more about investment strategies, financial planning, and portfolio management. You will work closely with experienced advisors and support them in delivering personalized financial solutions to clients.

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Perigon Wealth Management is a rapidly growing independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) based in San Francisco, CA. We manage approximately $9 billion in client assets as a fee-based fiduciary. In addition to our headquarters in San Francisco, we have offices nationwide including Hawaii, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Delaware, Georgia and Florida with plans for significant near-term growth and expansion into new markets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

ยท Prepare financial plans, including gathering data, analyzing financial information, and updating client portfolios.

ยท Manage client inquiries and ensure they are directed to the appropriate team members when necessary.

ยท Support the creation of financial plans by preparing various financial analysis reports

ยท Review and analyze client financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

ยท Generate investment performance reports and client portfolio updates.

ยท Run financial planning software to model different financial scenarios.

ยท Conduct research on financial products, market trends, and other relevant financial planning topics.

ยท Lead existing client relationship meetings under the guidance of an experienced Wealth Advisor.

ยท Prepare client meeting materials and documents.

SKILLS AND REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

ยท Progress toward or completion of the CFPยฎ (Certified Financial Planner) designation is a plus, but not required.

ยท Series 7 or Series 63

ยท Bachelorโ€™s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

ยท 2-5 years of experience in financial services or related field.

ยท Familiarity with financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuide).

ยท Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

ยท Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

ยท Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

ยท Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.

ยท A team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently when needed.

ยท Enthusiasm for learning about financial planning and a commitment to professional growth.
