As a Commercial Lines Account Manager - Team Lead, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional client service while helping shape the success of a high-performing Commercial Lines team. This position combines hands-on account management responsibilities with leadership opportunities, allowing you to drive client retention, support team development, and help ensure operational excellence across the department.
You will manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients while serving as a trusted resource for Account Managers, Producers, carrier partners, and internal stakeholders. Your expertise, mentorship, and commitment to service will help create consistent client experiences and strengthen team performance.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Lead and mentor Commercial Lines Account Managers, fostering professional growth, accountability, and consistent service excellence.
  • Manage a book of commercial insurance accounts, overseeing renewals, policy changes, coverage reviews, and ongoing client service needs.
  • Serve as an escalation resource for complex coverage questions, client concerns, and carrier negotiations to ensure timely resolution.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and agency management systems.
  • Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and service.
