Xavier University's Williams College of Business (WCB) seeks an energetic and collaborative applicant for the role of Events and Engagement Coordinator. The role is responsible for planning, coordinating, communicating, and executing events and engagement initiatives that strengthen relationships within and beyond the WCB. This position supports college-wide programs, student and alumni engagement, and communication efforts that highlight the mission, value, and impact of the WCB. The Coordinator collaborates with college leadership and across academic departments, centers, and university offices to ensure effective planning, implementation, communication, and assessment of events and outreach activities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, organize, and implement WCB events involving external stakeholders
  • Create, solicit, and coordinate content in adherence to university policies for internal and external communications channels such as webpages, email campaigns, social media, newsletters, Engage XU, campus announcements, and event highlights
  • Collaborate with the University Advancement Office and Strategic Enrollment Management to support alumni relations, and event promotion.
  • Assist with expense processing, travel reimbursements, and budget tracking related to events and outreach activities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.
