Job Summary
Amundson's Home Appliance Center is expanding and looking for Delivery Drivers/Installers for the Rice Lake, Spooner, Hayward and Eau Claire areas to join our team! As a Delivery Driver, you are a key member of the team! You are responsible for delivering & installing household appliances to our clients. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.
Earning potential up to $50,000/year. Paid Time Off the first year. Benefit package and 401K program offered.
This position is right for you if you are self-motivated, energetic, and enjoy helping people. Ideally, you are driven to provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction and able to effectively manage a variety of situations on a day-to-day basis.
Responsibilities:
  • 1 Year delivery driving experience preferred
  • Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and different routes
  • Follow route and schedule
  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
  • Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jack in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
  • Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
  • Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 to 100lbs.

Qualifications:
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to drive multiple types of vehicles, i.e., box truck and express van
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must have excellent time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and maintain effective relationships with current customers and vendors
