Job description

We’re looking for a strong leader with experience in sales management, employee coaching, and team development.

Up to $70,000+ salary + bonus + commission opportunities

The Center Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the center, including sales, guest experience, team development, staffing, scheduling, inventory, operational standards, and accountability.

You will lead both our front-desk Guest Service Associates and licensed Wax Specialists, developing a confident and high-performing team that consistently delivers an exceptional guest experience.

The right candidate is positive, organized, competitive, professional, and comfortable setting clear expectations, giving direct feedback, and holding employees accountable.


What You’ll Do
  • Lead, coach, and develop Guest Service Associates and Wax Specialists
  • Recruit, interview, onboard, schedule, and supervise center employees
  • Drive Wax Pass, retail, service, and pre-booking performance through daily coaching and accountability
  • Lead team huddles and communicate daily goals, priorities, and performance expectations
  • Review center KPIs, identify performance gaps, and create clear action plans
  • Observe employee performance and provide consistent recognition, coaching, and documented feedback
  • Maintain high standards for guest experience, service quality, cleanliness, safety, and professionalism
  • Enforce company policies related to attendance, dress code, conduct, and job performance
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally and coach employees on effective guest recovery
  • Manage scheduling, timecard accuracy, inventory, ordering, and other daily operational responsibilities
  • Partner with the District Manager to improve center performance and develop future leaders
  • Build a positive, accountable, and goal-oriented team culture

What We’re Looking For
  • At least three years of management, supervisory, or team-leadership experience
  • Experience leading a team of five or more employees
  • Previous experience in retail, hospitality, beauty, fitness, service, or another sales-focused environment
  • A strong sales mindset and the ability to coach employees toward individual and team goals
  • Experience hiring, training, scheduling, and managing employee performance
  • Confidence addressing performance issues and holding employees accountable
  • Strong communication, organization, decision-making, and follow-through
  • Comfort reviewing sales reports, KPIs, labor information, and other business metrics
  • Experience using POS systems, scheduling platforms, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or similar tools
  • A professional attitude and the ability to consistently lead by example
  • Availability to work the required management schedule, including Saturdays and closing shifts

Beauty-industry experience is helpful but not required. Strong leadership, sales ability, accountability, and the desire to develop people are more important.


Schedule

This is a full-time management position working five days per week.

The typical Center Manager schedule is Tuesday through Saturday and includes:

  • An early inventory and administrative shift
  • Standard daytime management shifts
  • At least one closing shift
  • Saturday availability
  • Additional schedule flexibility when required by staffing or business needs
