Required experience in hard floor cleaning, buffing, waxing and carpet cleaning
Total Compensation: $15.50 (with shift differential)

What you get to do:
As a Floor Tech you will:

  • Work in a team environment and interact with others in a professional manner

  • Primary function will be hard floor buffing/waxing, and carpet cleaning. Position includes stripping and waxing tile floors, scrubbing restroom floors using a side-by-side scrubber, and operating an automatic scrubber.

  • Additional duties may include trash removal/ disposal, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, window and mirror washing, restroom cleaning, office, breakroom and hallway cleaning, store/merchandise area cleaning, cobweb removal/cleaning, storage room/area cleaning, hard floor buffing / waxing, and carpet cleaning

  • Follow standard operating procedures necessary to perform job functions to serve a quality product

  • Provide excellent service in an efficient and courteous manner

  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business need


What it takes to succeed:

  • At least 18 years old

  • Current valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving guidelines

  • Able to work overnight shifts between 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Hours may change based on park hours and business needs

  • Experience in hard floor cleaning, buffing, waxing, and carpet cleaning

  • Familiar with the safe operation of floor cleaning equipment and floor cleaning chemicals and waxes

  • Communicate effectively and professionally with ambassadors and all others conducting business on our properties

  • Able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis. Some specific work areas may require heavier lifting

  • Perform the following physical activities on a frequent basis: kneel, squat, stand, walk, climb, bend floor- to- waist/waist-to-overhead and reach overhead, simple grasp and fine manipulation tasks

  • Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights if needed

  • Able to work indoors and in dimly lit outdoors, in varying Florida weather, to include extreme heat

  • Position will be exposed to cleaning chemicals, fumes, dust, odors and possibly cold/heat temperature extremes

  • Work a flexible schedule/hours based on business need, to include overnights, weekends, and holidays
