The job may also involve inspecting molds, trimming excess wax, and maintaining equipment to ensure smooth operation.

What are the typical daily responsibilities of a wax injector?

As a Wax Injector, your daily responsibilities typically include preparing and setting up wax injection equipment, producing wax patterns by injecting molten wax into molds, and inspecting the patterns for defects or imperfections. You may also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining molds, recording production data, and assisting with troubleshooting equipment issues. Collaboration with quality control teams and other production staff is common to ensure each piece meets strict manufacturing standards. To thrive as a Wax Injector, you generally need good manual dexterity, attention to detail, and experience or training in wax injection techniques used in jewelry or foundry production. Familiarity with wax injection machines, proper handling of molds, and adherence to safety protocols are commonly required, though formal certification is not always necessary. Strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently or in small teams, and a commitment to maintaining quality standards are valuable soft skills. These competencies ensure precise work, minimize defects, and contribute to efficient, high-quality production processes.

You are a great fit here if you take your craft seriously: full-face planning, natural results, and patients who come back because of what you deliver. You are also someone who wants to be paid what you are worth and understands that a loyal Long Island patient book, built the right way, is one of the best earning platforms in aesthetics. If you have 2+ years of independent injecting experience, hands-on Sculptra and Radiesse skills, and you live within an hour of Patchogue, keep reading.

Who We Are

VIO Med Spa is an all-inclusive, luxury medical spa that provides unparalleled and innovative services in the aesthetic and wellness spaces. VIO Med Spa is driven to help each guest feel empowered and confident, while helping them to achieve their own vision of beauty. Our team is meticulously trained to provide a safe and comfortable experience in a warm and welcoming environment. Every treatment plan is carefully curated and tailored to each guest and their aesthetic goals. We operate within a set of unwavering core values, and we are committed to delivering life-changing results.

The team that brought Beach Bum Tanning , European Wax Center , and Orangetheory Fitness to Long Island is now building VIO Med Spa in New York. This is a multi-unit, owner-operated practice with its primary home in Patchogue and a growing second location in East Northport. The owner is invested in building a team of providers, not just filling chairs.

The Role

We are hiring an experienced Aesthetic Injector (NP/PA preferred; qualified RN considered) to serve as a primary clinical provider at the Patchogue location. The right provider may also have the opportunity to build hours at our East Northport location. You will own the consultation, the treatment, and the patient relationship, building a loyal book across a full-service menu that includes advanced injectables, biostimulators, and a growing wellness offering.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform the full injectable menu: neurotoxins, HA fillers, PRF/EZ Gel, and biostimulators (Sculptra + Radiesse), with precision, safety, and a natural-results philosophy.
  • Lead consultations end-to-end: full-face assessment, personalized treatment planning, patient education, and next-step confirmation before the guest leaves your care.
  • Build and retain your patient book through consistent outcomes, rebook cadence, and the kind of trust that makes patients refer their friends.
  • Support guests across VIO’s wellness menu (HRT, GLP-1, peptides, IV/IM therapy) with full training provided.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and deliver a premium guest experience within a physician-supervised model.
RequirementsMust-Haves
  • Active New York license in good standing: NP, APRN, PA, or RN.
  • 2+ years of independent aesthetic injecting in a medical spa, dermatology, or plastic surgery setting. Tox-only and assisted-only profiles are not a fit.
  • Sculptra and Radiesse experience, independent, from day one. Training on biostimulators is not available for this position.
  • Strong HA dermal filler scope: full-face planning and execution with a facial-balancing, natural-results approach.
  • Strong consult communication: comfortable leading treatment planning, setting realistic expectations, and building long-term patient relationships.
  • Local to Long Island with a commute under 1 hour to Patchogue.
Nice-to-Haves
  • BBL/MOXI, Sciton, or comparable energy-based device experience.
  • RF microneedling experience (Pixel8 or equivalent).
  • Wellness background: HRT, GLP-1/weight management, peptide therapy, or IV therapy. Will train the right candidate.
  • PRF/EZ Gel experience.
  • Established local patient following in Suffolk or Nassau County.
Why This Role
  • You get paid for what you build. Base hourly is competitive by Long Island market standards. The 5% commission scales with your production and patient retention, not a shared pool. A provider who builds a loyal book earns accordingly.
  • A predictable schedule, confirmed at offer. Three days per week plus every other Saturday, locked in so you can plan your life around it.
  • Patchogue is home. The primary commitment is one location. Providers who want to build more hours have a second location available in East Northport.
  • Room to grow your scope. VIO’s wellness menu (HRT, GLP-1, peptide therapy, IV/IM therapy) is active and growing. Providers who can speak across the full menu retain better and earn more.
  • NP / PA: $70–$90/hr base + 5% commission on services.
  • RN: $55–$75/hr base + 5% commission on services.
  • Medical benefits.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO).
  • Employee pricing on VIO services and retail products.
  • Discounts at other owner-operated businesses.
