Job description

The Role:

As an Element Fabricator, you will joinour Elements Department and support the preparation of tubing and componentsused in heater assemblies for our process heat line of business. This roleinvolves operating machinery, assembling coils, and completing fabricationprocesses such as washing, drying, soldering, and spot welding. Training isprovided to ensure success in this role.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload MGO filling machines using stair access.
  • Set up and operate fabrication and assembly machinery.
  • Obtain required floor stock and materials for production.
  • Cut tubing and remove burrs to meet specifications.
  • Produce tubing diameters to required product specifications.
  • Assemble coils, including washing, drying, oven processing, soldering, and spot welding.
  • Perform quality checks and tests to ensure product compliance.
  • Complete inspection sheets and production documentation accurately.
  • Log scrap materials according to process requirements.
  • Maintain OSHA confined space training compliance as required.
  • Utilize handheld propane torch for assembly processes.
  • Support safe and efficient production flow while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Our Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per day and lift/carry up to 33 lbs frequently.
  • Ability to perform physical activities including pushing, pulling, walking, and power grasping; occasional climbing required.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency using measuring tools such as rulers, calipers, hi-pot testers, micrometers, and multimeters.
  • Ability to consistently climb stairs and work in confined spaces.
  • Strong math, reading, writing, and measurement skills.
  • Experience using hand tools (e.g., drills, pliers, wrenches).
  • Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills with employees, supervisors, and management.
  • Safety- and quality-focused mindset.
  • Mechanical aptitude preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus.
Pay Rate: 18.00 - 22.00 hourlyย (2nd shift has a 15% shift differential)
