Job description

Wave Machine Operator - Contract
A leading provider of PCB assembly is seeking a skilled Wave Machine Operator in Westford, MA. Join a company known for its commitment to quality and innovation in the electronics manufacturing industry. This is a contract opportunity!
Shift/Pay:
Mon-Thurs 4:30pm-3:00am - Pay $22-$24 plus 10%
Fri-Sun 6:00am-6:30pm (If you work 36, you bonus 4 hours added to total 40) - $23/HR 
Responsibilities of the Wave Machine Operator:
  • Set-up, operate and maintain Wave Solder, Solder Station, In­ Line Aqueous cleaner and other equipment used in the assembly of printed circuit boards.
  • Inspect each assembled printed circuit board before and after solder operations to ensure compliance to IPC solderability standard.
  • Perform basic levels of maintenance following established procedures; and assist maintenance technicians as required.
  • Interface with complex machine hardware and software.
  • Ensure proper handling of controlled materials routinely used in the wave solder process. Follow established safety guidelines.

Qualifications of the Wave Machine Operator:
  • Experience in Wave Solder Equipment Operation.
  • Experience in the proper handling of controlled materials used in the wave solder process.
  • Knowledge of component handling, including ESD requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other groups.
