Build a Six-Figure Career Selling to Law Enforcement Agencies

Home Base: Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas
Territory: Various territories are available across the United States
Travel: Approximately 50–80%

Are you a driven sales professional who thrives on developing new business and closing deals? Do you enjoy owning your territory, calling on executive decision-makers including Sheriffs and Commissioners, and representing a product that truly makes a difference?

SecureTech Systems is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand our presence throughout the Midwest. Based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, you'll develop new business opportunities with law enforcement agencies, government organizations, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and other public-sector customers. You'll represent our proven WAVE Plus wireless emergency notification system—technology that helps first responders react faster during critical incidents and improves emergency communications when every second counts.

What You'll Do

  • Develop new business opportunities throughout your assigned Midwest territory.
  • Prospect, qualify, and engage decision-makers within law enforcement agencies, government organizations, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and other public-sector organizations.
  • Conduct in-person product demonstrations and presentations for executive leadership and public safety professionals.
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline from initial prospecting through closing.
  • Plan and execute weekly travel throughout your assigned territory.
  • Represent SecureTech Systems at industry conferences, trade shows, and professional association meetings.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed new business sales goals.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and territory activity reports.
  • Provide exceptional post-sale follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and generate future referral opportunities.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Proven success in outside B2B or government (B2G) sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, develop, and close new business.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a multi-state sales territory.
  • Residence in the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout your territory (approximately 50–80%) - we will provide the vehicle and pay your travel expenses.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
