Hospitalist - Mobile, AL - Come Enjoy Gulf Coast LivingJob Summary:Make a meaningful impact by providing high-quality inpatient care to adult non-surgical patients, along with internal medicine consultations in both inpatient & outpatient settings. You'll also participate in a specialized outpatient clinic focused on consultative care for non-service unit patients. Come be part of a supportive team where your expertise truly matters.

Essential Functions: 

  • Direct care & consultation to adult non-surgical hospitalized patients 

  • Coordinate internal medicine subspecialty care 

  • Communicate accurate and pertinent information with patient care providers and other members of the care delivery team to facilitate effective patient care 

  • Provide "on-call" services after hours on weeknights, weekends & holidays so that continuous, uninterrupted excellent patient care is provided 

  • Consult for non service unit patients by telephone or site clinic

  • Prepare medical record entries as required by facility policies, medical staff by-laws and regulatory authorities

  • May serve as collaborative practice provider for Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner

  • Participate in medical staff/hospital committees, quality improvement and review activities 

  • Facilitate patient education & maintain positive patient relations

Qualifications: 

Medical Degree from an accredited school & completed residency
