The Position: Water Truck Driver

Type: Full-time, Seasonal

Reports To: General Foreperson

About Us:

Wright Tree Service, a business unit of Wright Canada Holdings, provides vegetation management, storm restoration, and work planning services to utility companies and their communities across North America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Water trees, shrubs & sod around Edmonton and area.
  • Maintain record of worked hours.
  • Carry out proper safety procedures and documentation.
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance and inspections.
  • Work and drive in a safe, professional, and responsible manner.
  • Regularly perform physical and manual labor.
  • Other duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Expectations:

  • Class 5 driver's license with air brake endorsement.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in physically demanding environments.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Motivated to learn independently and from team members, with strong time management skills.
  • Comfortable working in noisy environments with proper PPE.
  • Ability to operate and service all required tools and equipment.
