Job Title: Utility | General Labor

Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Week 1 Monday- Wednesday - Week 2 Monday- Thursday | 6:00pm to 6:30am 
Overtime: Must be available to work on Thursdays off as production needs dictate 


Job Summary

We are seeking dependable and hardworking Utility / General Labor Associates to join a growing manufacturing team in Kings Mountain, NC. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential for permanent employment.
The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. Associates will support production and sanitation operations by keeping work areas and equipment clean, organized, and safe while assisting with various general labor duties as needed.


Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize production areas, machinery, and equipment according to company standards.
  • Remove trash, debris, and waste from production and work areas.
  • Wash and clean floors, containers, bins, and other equipment.
  • Assist with deep-cleaning tasks and scheduled sanitation activities.
  • Support the sanitation team and production team wherever needed.
  • Follow proper procedures when working around water and cleaning chemicals.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies, GMP requirements, and sanitation procedures.
  • Report equipment, safety, or sanitation concerns to supervisors.
  • Assist with general labor and production-related duties as assigned.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily operational and sanitation goals.
Required Qualifications

  • Previous sanitation, general labor, manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand and perform physical work for 12-hour shifts.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Comfortable working around water and cleaning chemicals.
  • Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Must be available to work mandatory overtime on Fridays when required.
  • Must have steel-toe, non-slip shoes.
  • Must meet GMP Standards: No jewelry (including facial jewelry), fake nails or nail polish, or fake eyelashes.
  • Must be okay with No Cell Phones on the Production Floor.
  • Must be able to speak and read either fluent English or Spanish.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen.
  • Must be able to meet the 10-year background screening requirement, with no felony convictions or repeated misdemeanor convictions.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous sanitation or industrial cleaning experience.
  • Manufacturing or food production experience.
  • Experience working with cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
