Job description

Train and monitor students during classroom in 92W MOS, hands-on practical exercises (PE) and the hands-on examination. Maintain and recommend corrections and updates to lesson plans for AIT courses, Quartermaster related lessons/modules for POIs, Officer/Warrant Officer courses, Functional and Leader Development Courses including the NCO Academy's Senior Leader Course and Advanced Leader Course. Lesson plans include practical exercises, graphic aids, interactive multimedia courseware and tests using the Training Development Capability (TDC) software or its approved replacement. Support Test Room by maintaining and updating Test Control Material. Update and maintain student materials and workbooks. Translate lesson plans into Distance Learning Courseware similar to techniques used in academia which includes discussion boards and posting assignments online. Assist with the transfer of ASAT compliant lesson plans into TDC software. Provide short-term support for QMS Department Deep Dives which are held quarterly and various Foreign Delegation Visits to CASCOM which are held on a weekly basis. Provide remediation training, maintain classrooms within their specified MOS by re-configuring/setting up classroom furnishings, sort and maintain training aides and equipment, stock training materials and equipment, and/or assist with outdoor training site maintenance.  Requirements:6 years of experience in 92W MOSPrior experience as an instructor or observer/controllerProficient with Microsoft (MS) Office computer programs (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Outstanding oral and written communication skillsAbility to complete and shall complete the Common Faculty Development Program – Instructor Course (CFDP-IC) Ability to complete Installation Staff and Contractors Training Course (ISCTC) Ability to obtain and shall obtain a score of ninety (90) or better on all written and practical exams for instructional areas assigned within thirty (30) calendar days of the start of performance with no more than three (3) attempts to pass. Evaluation by a certified evaluator or certified instructor with no more than three (3) NO-GO ratings in Section 1 and have a score of twenty-four (24) or higher in Section 2 (with no zero ratings) on the Instructor Observation Rubric (the last two (2) consecutive evaluations shall have met this criteria). Ability to complete and shall complete the right-seat ride prior to providing Instructor services. Perform duties requiring moderate lifting (not to exceed 45 lbs.), long periods of standing, and sitting or walking. Able to work under extreme temperature and inclement weather conditions (ranging between 15° F and 110° F) for extended periods of time. Able to train and monitor students during the classroom, hands-on practical exercises (PE) and the hands-on examination. Able to employ the Blended Learning Product of Interactive Multimedia Instruction. Able to become range certified by completing the Range Safety Course at Fort Lee, VA within sixty calendar (60) days of starting services on this task order.Able to climb in/out of military equipment and walk on rocky terrain.
