OPEN POSITION - WATER FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
As a staff member at the Neptune Aquatic Center (NAC), the Water Fitness Instructor is
responsible for providing students with a safe, enjoyable and educational water program while
continuing to relate to the needs of the aquatic patrons as a whole. They will be responsible for
monitoring activities within the fitness class to prevent accidents and provide assistance to
swimmers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum age of 18.
• Preferred certificates in either Glide Fit or Cardio Wave, Aquatic Zumba or USA Water Fitness.
• Ability to lead a safe, educational and enjoyable swim class for people of all ages, fitness levels and capabilities.
• The physical, visual and auditory abilities to perform the essential functions of the job; that being to prevent accidents and provide assistance should an emergency situation arise.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage difficult or emotional situations by providing prompt and effective service when needed.
Rate subject to experience, certification and qualification will be $19.00-$23.00 per hour.
