Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Water Jet Operator in Buford, Georgia. In this hands-on, fast-paced role, you will be responsible for operating rough-cut machinery, maintain equipment, keep accurate records. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below.
In a Water Jet Operator role, you’ll be responsible for:
  • Operate the machinery (Waterjet/Combi-Cut, saw) and ensure it is always operating correctly.
  • Proficient in working with measurements Perform quality checks as required. Interpret blueprint drawings and sketches to plan.
  • Responsible for the set-up and operation of cutting machinery.
  • Maintain all required documentation and organization for materials received, moved, scrapped, and quality-verified. 

What you’ll need:
  • Knowledge of CNC programming and operation.
  • CAD certification preferred.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints and technical procedures.

Pay rate: $22-$25 based on experience.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:00am-3:00pm.
Stable, full-time hours.
