Job description

About the Role:

Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Wastewater Treatment process in accordance with all applicable and permit requirement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification in waste water treatment or a related field.
  • Experience in operating and maintaining waste water treatment systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the waste water industry.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal waste water regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and operate waste water treatment equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of treatment facilities and equipment.
  • Collect and analyze water samples to assess quality and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in the waste water treatment process.
  • Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance activities, and water quality data.

Skills:

The required skills for this position include technical proficiency in operating waste water treatment equipment and a strong understanding of environmental regulations.
