Main responsibilities:

This intern will also assist in maintaining and improving the processes for monitoring EHS performance indicators (GHG, waste, water consumption, incident management) and in preparing and communicating best practices in environmental management and health and safety to improve Héroux Devtek's performance, with a particular focus on solutions integrated into business processes. The intern will participate in creating awareness materials for all staff and targeted training materials for those responsible for environmental, health and safety files at the sites.

Our ideal candidate:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Studies
• Complete assigned tasks and mandates with diligence, professionalism, autonomy, and proactivity
• Respect the confidentiality of data and other information belonging to Héroux Devtek
• Adhere to the standards in effect at the internship site
• Demonstrate openness, active listening, and self-reflection
• Creativity and the ability to simplify complex information to effectively communicate important messages
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety (an asset)

*In this role, we require knowledge of English due to the communications needed with our various suppliers, clients, auditors, and other subsidiaries of the organization that are international.
