Job description

Our experienced Lawrenceville Transportation Team is seeking a civil engineering student to join our team to train and mentor as a Drainage Intern.
Internship Description:
  • Work alongside our dynamic team and be exposed to many aspects of drainage engineering including post-construction and construction stormwater management, stormwater drainage systems design, stormwater permitting, and H&H modeling bridges and culverts.
  • Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, and calculations related to drainage, E&S Control, LID/GI, and Stormwater Control Measures (SCMs).
  • Receive real-world experience and training in industry-related software such as ArcGIS, Microstation, HydraCAD, Hydraflow, PondPack, StormCAD, Autodesk SSA, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and HY-8.
  • Gain experience in the competitive consulting engineering industry.
  • The successful candidate will be a strong team player with a commitment to becoming a key member of this highly productive design team.

Requirements:
  • Must be pursuing a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program.
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in drainage/stormwater engineering.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Previous internship experience

This is an in-office position; duties and responsibilities are generally performed in an office setting. Occasional travel to offsite locations to perform work and work-related tasks or to attend meetings may be required.
