Participates in assignments on a project-by-project basis to provide expert- level support or guidance. May provide direct assistance, review progress, and evaluate results; makes changes in methods or project design where necessary. Works with a high degree of independence and often leads projects and mentors staff members with less experience. Possesses knowledge, skills, and abilities to lead junior staff independently conduct primary assigned tasks such as to analyze environmental samples using microbiology and biology methods, perform data review, or conducting environmental risk assessments or other field activities as well as a sufficiently broad knowledge and versatility to lead SOP/method development and support additional assigned tasks as needed. · Perform QC microbiological testing, including water testing, Microbial Limits and Antimicrobial Effectiveness Testing. · Review laboratory records for accuracy, completeness, compliance, and conformance to specifications.
Bachelors in biology or microbiology or higher and 4 additional years of experience.
