Job description

LAB -Tasks and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Gelato makers leaded by our Maestro Gelatiere work in our store's laboratory where our guests can watch and witness the creative art of making gelato ! They will learn our gelato making processes from start -to-finish. They must be able to follow the instructions and recipes that are provided. They should be capable of following recipes accurately using exact measurements and volumes provided. They are responsible for properly cleaning and sanitizing all food preparation area according to the food safety established standards of hygiene. Washing and appropriately storing all appliances, instruments, utensils, cutting boards, and dishes. Unloading and organizing of delivered food supplies.

Our LAB staff will be expected to perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

* You have a passion for customer service and delivering an exceptional experience for our guests.

* You integrate fun as a way of being and working.

* You communicate with honesty & kindness and create the space for others to do the same.

* ServSafe certification is a plus, but not required.

* We are looking for candidates who have experience in making gelato and/or ice cream, or have a strong interest in the gelato making process and are eager to learn under our training program.

* You should be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

* Your availability must reflect the needs of the business, which may change from time to time. The Store Manager determines the availability needs, and the schedule could include a combination of shift times, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

* All Team Members are expected to be reliable, and on time for every shift.

* All Team Members are expected to be available to work during the holiday season.
