Ledcor is looking for an Ironworker Forepersons to join our team supporting major shutdowns and turnarounds across Alberta's industrial facilities.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Execute shutdown and turnaround rigging scopes

  • Provide daily leadership, direction, and support to Journeyperson and Apprentice Ironworkers

  • Forecast, coordinate, and oversee preventative maintenance requirements

  • Ensure the safety of the crew, equipment, and work environment

  • Adapting to changing priorities in a time-sensitive environment

  • Daily paperwork and conduct daily toolbox talks

  • Maintain high productivity and quality during extended shifts and compressed timelines

  • Maintain and update maintenance schedules, tracking systems, and documentation to ensure accurate record-keeping and effective planning

  • Coordinate and communicates with the other Foreman and Supervision to ensure the correct sequencing of operations

  • Trains, supports, and offers guidance to new employees

  • Inspects work fronts regularly and ensures schedules are followed

Qualifications:

  • Registered Journeyperson Ironworker certification

  • 3-5 years previous experience in a foreman role

  • Proven experience in shutdowns, turnarounds, or outage maintenance in oil & gas or heavy industrial environments

  • Experience working on time-sensitive, schedule-driven projects with shifting priorities

  • Ability to work 10-12+ hour shifts, overtime, and consecutive days during shutdowns

  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and procedural compliance

Working Conditions:
