H2O Innovation provides public works management services & operations assistance for water & wastewater treatment plants to municipalities, government organizations, and businesses across North America.


H2O is currently seeking a Wastewater Operator (Class I-II) to join our team in Laurel, Mississippi.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor wastewater treatment processes under supervision
  • Perform routine inspections, sampling, and basic laboratory testing
  • Record operational data and maintain accurate logs
  • Assist with minor maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment
  • Follow all safety procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Respond to alarms and assist in troubleshooting process or equipment issues
  • Support preventative maintenance activities on pumps, valves, and other plant equipment
  • Assist with process adjustments to help maintain compliance with permit requirements


The Skills We Are Looking For

  • Active Class I or Class II Wastewater Operator License
  • Basic knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and plant operations
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the wastewater industry, with the goal of advancing certification levels
  • Ability to follow instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic tools and equipment
