Job description

SERVICE TECHNICIAN / DRIVER

TBS Site Services is seeking a dependable, safety-conscious Service Technician/Driver to operate a company service truck and service portable restrooms, handwashing stations, and holding tanks at customer locations throughout the Bay Area. Our Service Technicians are at the heart of our business and play an important role in providing clean, reliable, and professional service to our customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Safely operate a company service truck in accordance with company and applicable DOT requirements.
  • Service, pump, clean, sanitize, and restock portable restrooms, sinks, and holding tanks.
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle/equipment inspections and report safety or mechanical concerns.
  • Complete assigned routes safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Provide professional customer service at construction sites and other customer locations.
  • Take photos and document completed services, equipment damage, repairs, and site issues.
  • Communicate route changes, customer concerns, and service needs to Operations.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and jobsite requirements.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to frequently enter and exit the service truck; sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, push, pull, and lift/move approximately 30–50 lbs. Must be comfortable performing physical outdoor work in varying weather and jobsite conditions.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid California Class C Drivers license required
  • Acceptable and insurable DMV driving record
  • Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete required paperwork/documentation
  • Comfortable using a smartphone for photos and service documentation
  • Previous commercial driving, portable sanitation, pumping, waste service, construction, or similar field experience is a plus
