Yaskawa is searching for an Industry Manager in our low voltage Drives waste water market segment.  The Industry Manager will coordinate and support sales penetration in the waste water market by leading Yaskawa in the research, development and execution of specific market plans for this segment.  A primary focus of this role will be researching, road mapping and developing our strategic plan with timeline and support requirement.  Additionally, this role will be the Industry champion to increase end user awareness and usages of Yaskawa products and service.  This role will also focus on the pursuit of OEMs that are important to target markets, as well as support field sales in pursuit of stated objectives.  This role is responsible for maintaining and directing staff to provide quotations to Waste Water customers and well as other general purpose quotations.  Lastly all related trade shows and marketing materials will be designed and provided by this position.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with coursework in marketing or business.  Additionally, candidates should possess a minimum of 10 years in industrial sales and a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a lead marketing role with management responsibilities.  The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience developing the waste water market with a deep knowledge of automation systems, waste water treatment plants, pumps and processes as well as a thorough understanding of drive competitors in Waste Water – both technically and commercially.  Lastly, the perfect candidate will have a deep knowledge of the complex sales cycle including selling to top level executives, facility owners and public utilities as well as a thorough understanding of situational selling, value propositions and interpersonal relationships.
