Job description

As a key member of GFL's Business Development team, the Account Manager - Liquid Waste will be committed to enhancing our client relationships and growing our market share. You will be relied upon to source new business with prospective and existing clients and will instill confidence in our customers that they are dealing with the industry leader. You will focus on primarily growing our customer base within our lines of service.


Job Duties:
Seek out business development with new and existing clients.
Analyze customer needs and present solutions utilizing a thorough understanding of our diverse service offerings.
Represent the company in a professional manner at all times to ensure every opportunity is taken to promote the brand.
Ensure exemplary customer satisfaction and act as a liaison between customer and operational staff.
Provide market intelligence in regards to competitors and pricing strategies.
Formulate business plans and strategies to meet business development targets.


Requirements:
Proven business development experience in a competitive, demanding business sector.
Passion for business excellence with exceptional follow through .
Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract.

Broad knowledge of waste disposal industry (TSDF network and disposal technologies) with an understanding of the EPA codes, RCRA regulations, and related DOT shipping requirements.

Minimum of 2 years experience with an outside RCRA related industry

4 year college degree preferred and demonstrated performance of appropriate entry level skills

Success in managing a sales territory within our industry.
