POSITION SUMMARY
This role is critical in ensuring that the venue operates smoothly and maintains high standards of cleanliness and organization across all areas, both inside and around the building.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure cleanliness throughout the restaurant, including dining areas, bar areas, restrooms, and storage areas.
• Outdoor Maintenance: Keep the outdoor areas clean, including the trash area outside the back door.
• Grounds Keeping: Maintain the cleanliness of flower beds and planters, ensuring windows and all egresses are spotless.
• Setup and Breakdown: Handle the setup and breakdown of furniture and equipment daily, ensuring that all elements are secure and stored properly after closing.
• Deliveries: Assist in receiving and properly storing deliveries, ensuring that all items are accounted for and placed in their correct locations.
• Utility Cart Operation: Operate the venue's utility cart for various tasks, including transporting supplies and managing trash removal, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Support Staff: Assist the service and kitchen staff by ensuring that they have all the supplies and equipment needed.
• Waste Management: Manage waste disposal efficiently, including sorting and recycling as required by local regulations.
• Safety: Keep all pathways and public areas free from debris to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Emergency Assistance: Assist with emergency maintenance or cleaning tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role in a hospitality or event setting preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physical activities, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and standing for long periods.
• Willingness to work in various outdoor weather conditions.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously.
• Team player with good communication skills.
