Job description

Wise Environmental is seeking experienced CDL Drivers to operate Front Load and Roll Off trucks for waste collection and disposal. These positions require skilled drivers who can safely maneuver heavy-duty vehicles, adhere to scheduled routes, and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Operation: Safely operate Front Load and Roll Off trucks to service residential, commercial, and construction sites. Maneuver vehicles in tight spaces and challenging terrains.

  • Route Schedule Adherence: Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure all stops are serviced efficiently. Communicate with dispatch regarding route changes or service issues.

  • Front Load: Use front-end lifting mechanisms to empty waste containers into the truck.

  • Roll Off: Secure and transport roll-off containers, ensuring proper loading and unloading.

  • Vehicle Inspections Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, checking for mechanical issues and ensuring safety compliance. Report any operational concerns to maintenance teams.

  • Customer Interaction: Provide professional and courteous service to customers. Address concerns regarding container placement and waste collection.

  • Compliance Safety: Follow DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations for waste handling and vehicle operation. Ensure environmental guidelines are met at all times.

  • Documentation Reporting: Complete necessary paperwork including route sheets, logs, and incident reports.

Qualifications:

โœ” Valid CDL (with required endorsements).
โœ” Experience operating heavy-duty trucks (Front Load or Roll Off preferred).
โœ” Ability to lift, climb, and maneuver heavy equipment.
โœ” Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety protocols.
โœ” Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
โœ” Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Pay Benefits:

  • Non-CDL positions: $13-$16 per hour

  • CDL A or B positions: $17-$22 per hour

  • Minimum of 50 hours per week, with additional hours available

  • PTO: 1 week after 1 year of employment | 2 weeks after 3 years of employment

  • Company-provided health insurance (Employer covers half the cost of employee insurance after 1 year of employment)

  • A $10,000 burial policy is provided for all employees to benefit their family in case of an immediate loss
