Job description

Position Overview:

The Marketing Game Night Staff member will be positive, upbeat, and committed to promoting the Washington Wizards in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area. This is a part-time seasonal position to support the Washington Wizards Marketing Department.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead all aspects of set-up, execution, and breakdown of gameday giveaways and theme night activations.
  • Assist with the setup of in-arena signage and gameday programs.
  • Engage and interact with fans at home games and community events to enhance fan experience and champion the Wizards brand.
  • Support with special event responsibilities including distribution of promotional items, community activations, and more.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Passionate about sports and supporting the Wizards and the other MSE franchises.
  • Previous marketing/promotional/event/street team experience preferred.
  • Able to interact with guests and fans in an energetic, enthusiastic, and friendly manner.
  • Ability to exercise discretion when working with confidential information.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to balance and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work most giveaway nights during the 2026-2027 Wizards season.
  • Able to move quickly throughout the building using stairs, elevators, and escalators.
  • Ability to lift at least 20 pounds unassisted.
  • Flexibility to work most home games including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Pay Rate: $18.40 USD/hour
