Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to lead Clinical Nutrition and Patient Services for Whidbey Health Medical Center, Located in Coupeville on Whidbey Island Washington. A small 22 bed DNVcertified Critical Access Hospital serving highquality, patientcentered care. The medical center offers a collaborative, communityfocused environment healthcare hub where interdisciplinary teams work closely to care for patients close to home.

 Whidbey Island offers a relaxed coastal lifestyle with historic Coupeville and easy access to the preserved landscapes and outdoor recreation of Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve (farmland, shorelines, trails, and scenic views). The island is accessible via Washington State ferries and Highway 20, making it a great fit for candidates seeking smalltown charm and Puget Sound living!

What You'll Do
  • Lead the Clinical Nutrition Department, overseeing patient care and clinical operations
  • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to support coordinated, highquality care
  • Partner with the General Manager on clinical nutrition, patient services, and foodservice alignment ray line accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with policies, menu standards and analysis, and quality audits
  • Supervise 2 Nutrition Assistants and assist with Food Service staff and responsibilities

What You Bring
  • Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) with active state licensure and a bachelor's degree in nutrition or Dietetics (master's preferred)
  • Clinical nutrition leadership experience in a hospital or healthcare setting, supporting interdisciplinary care Knowledge of regulatory standards, policies & procedures preferred
  • Experience in menu analysis and quality/compliance oversight
  • Proven people leadership skills, including staff supervision and collaboration with foodservice and operational leadership and the desire to learn and grow in this position

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
