Job description

Position Overview: The Marketing Game Night Staff/Brand Ambassador will be positive, upbeat, and committed to promoting the Washington Capitals in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area. This is a part-time position to support the Washington Capitals Marketing Department.

Are you energetic, friendly, outgoing, and passionate about supporting the Capitals? We would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with all aspects of set-up, execution, and breakdown of gameday giveaways and theme night activations.
  • Assist with the setup of in-arena signage and gameday programs.
  • Engage and interact with fans at home games and community events to enhance fan experience and champion the Capitals brand.
  • Support with special event responsibilities including distribution of promotional items, community activations, and more.
  • Serve as an ambassador to the Capitals in the community.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Passionate about sports and supporting the Capitals and the other MSE franchises.
  • Previous marketing/promotional/event/street team experience preferred.
  • Able to interact with guests and fans in an energetic, enthusiastic, and friendly manner.
  • Ability to exercise discretion when working with confidential information.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to balance and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Able to move quickly throughout the arena using stairs, elevators, and escalators.
  • Ability to lift at least 20 pounds unassisted.

Pay Rate: $17.95 USD/hour.
