Car Wash Attendant
Job Summary
Interacts with Customers, Vacuums, Washes, and Cleans vehicles.
General Accountabilities
Scrubs, scrapes, or sprays vehicles, using brushes.
Maintains supply inventory and cleans the facility.
Presses buttons to activate cleaning equipment or machines.
Monitors the operation of cleaning machines and stops machines or notifies supervisors when malfunctions occur.
Cleans and polishes vehicle windows.
Mixes cleaning solutions, abrasive compositions, or other compounds, according to formulas.
Turns valves or handles on equipment to regulate pressure or flow of water, air, steam, or abrasives from sprayer nozzles.
Turns valves or disconnects hoses to eliminate water, cleaning solutions from tanks.
Sweeps, shovels, or vacuums loose debris into containers and remove containers from work areas.
Removes and reattaches vacuum and air hoses.

Job Qualifications
Education: On-the-job training
Experience: At least 6 months of related experience
