Warsaw Meadows Care Center is a premier skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing exceptional care to our residents. We are seeking a compassionate Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to join our team and play a vital role in delivering top-tier healthcare services.

Position Details

Shifts Available:

  • 2p-10p

Key Responsibilities

As a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA), you will:

  • Verify the identity of patients receiving medication and accurately record the drug name, dosage, and administration time.

  • Administer prescribed medications, observe ingestion or application, and ensure proper documentation.

  • Monitor patient responses to medications, take vital signs, and report unexpected reactions to designated personnel.

  • Document reasons for any missed medication doses.

  • Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and assisting during examinations or treatments.

  • Manage medication supplies by receiving, mixing, and assembling drugs for patient administration.

  • Record and restock medication inventories as needed.

  • Work the floor as needed

Qualifications
  • Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) program.

  • Completion of Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) designation requirements.
