Job description

Job Overview: The Constructive Simulation Functional Operator supports the National Simulation Center (NSC) by planning, coordinating, and executing simulation-based training in support of NEXTGEN Constructive operations. This role serves as a key integrator of training schedules, operational timelines, and simulation support, ensuring synchronization of events across multiple echelons ranging from Squad to Corps. Support Hours: Applicant shall be available during core work hours as established the Government customer. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Plans, coordinates, and executes individual MCIS and Simulation ("puckster") training at echelons ranging from Squad to Corps.
* Perform classroom setup, networking of systems and supporting simulations, and instruction on applicable simulations and/or mission command information systems.
* Executes training on the system IAW Army standard Programs of Instruction (POI) following approved course instructional times.
* Provide individual MCIS training to standard and on time, with 90% of the students successfully completing the course of instruction and receiving system certification.
* Follows doctrine outlined in the TC 6-0 series, "Training the Mission Command Warfighting Function". Teach, and coach during exercise/event execution, simulation functionality and operations to training unit personnel who will be operating simulation workstations during training exercises/events.
* On occasion, operate simulation system or MCiS for the unit during execution of the training event.

* Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Minimum Requirements/Education: * Bachelor's degree (associated discipline) / 5 yrs. experience in IS development, training, or related fields.
* 5 yrs. service in, or support to, the Army or other national defense service.
* 3 yrs. experience developing and providing IT and end-user training on computer HW and application SW.
* 3 yrs. MCIS teaching experience.
* 3 to 5 yrs. experience with M&S in support of training including systems JLCCTC, WARSIM, C2WSPTT, and other systems as required.
* Experience with scenario development and performing analytical assessments of systems.
* Knowledge, understanding, and experience using the JELC process; experience providing operator and functional training.
