Job description

Warehousing Associate

Warehouse associate / GL

Key Role:

  • Warehouse Associate - GL; providing support to all warehouse departments for a variety of tasks.
  • Receive, check in and put away stock manually or with pallet jack; quickly and accurately.
  • Pull and stage orders.
  • Replenish and stage orders manually or with pallet jack; getting ready for forklift drivers to offload or unload trailers as they come in.
  • Order picking, cycle counting, slotting, sorting, replenishment, labeling, matching slip orders with product.
  • Cross training to other departments. (inventory, shipping and receiving)
  • May utilize manual and/or powered industrial equipment and/or RF guns to perform work tasks as well.
  • Documents production log appropriately to include changes in assignments, downtime, meetings, etc. to ensure productivity records are accurate.
  • Housekeeping: Willing to pick up a broom and mop, clean break room, bathrooms, hallways, and general areas for warehouse upkeep.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized and positive warehouse environment.
  • Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs., and may weigh up to 70 lbs.
  • Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Attention to detail and good time management skill
  • Entry level to 6+ months warehouse.
  • Plumbing experience A+
  • Eager to learn and move up.
  • Forklift experience A+
  • Reliable, punctual and must have transportation to and from work.

1st shift: 8 am to 5pm - Monday to Friday
