Job description

Please note, this position is based onsite at our Lebanon, IN facilities.
SUMMARY: The Computer Operations Analyst provides technical support and administration for the infrastructure, systems, and applications that support operations within the Indiana Distribution and Returns Centers. This role partners with internal teams to maintain system reliability, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, support warehouse technology solutions, and contribute to the ongoing performance and security of the organization's technology environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support and administer Linux Red Hat server environments and virtualization platforms.
  • Support Windows operating systems, including desktop and server environments.
  • Assist in the administration and support of Radio Frequency (RF) production floor systems.
  • Support warehouse automation technologies, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), conveyor systems, pick-to-light systems, transportation systems, and related operational technologies.
  • Provide hardware and software support to end users and operational teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues related to computer operations, infrastructure, and business-critical systems.
  • Assist with Active Directory administration and user support.
  • Perform operating system patch management for Linux and VMware environments and assist with Windows patch management activities.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and security.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and system configurations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business partners to support operational objectives.
  • Provide additional support to the Sr. Manager, Network & Infrastructure, as needed.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Demonstrated experience supporting and administering Linux operating systems in a production environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting virtualization/hypervisor platforms in a production environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Windows Server environments.
  • Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Experience in at least three of the following areas:
    • RF system support
    • Enterprise backup solutions
    • Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle database support
    • Windows desktop support
    • Network hardware configuration and administration
    • Automated warehouse technologies, including computerized picking or conveyor systems
    • Windows or Linux scripting and automation
    • Label and document management systems
    • ACS support and maintenance
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, integrity, and respect in all interactions.

SKILLS PREFERED:
  • Experience administering and supporting Active Directory.
  • Experience supporting Radio Frequency (RF) warehouse systems.
  • Experience supporting enterprise backup solutions.
  • Experience supporting automated warehouse technologies, including computerized picking and conveyor systems.
  • Experience with scripting, automation, and system integration technologies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required; equivalent combination of education, technical training, certifications, and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Relevant technical certifications are preferred.
  • Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure and operational systems in a production environment preferred.
