About the Role
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing all shipping, warehousing, coil receiving, Telia dashboard usage, and inventory control of finished tubular goods and saw areas. This role is perfect for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and enjoys driving continuous improvement in shipping and warehouse operations.

What You'll Do
  • Manages operations to achieve world-class shipping and warehouse efficiency.
  • Develops, recommends, and implements continuous improvement practices to reduce waste and inefficiencies.
  • Creates and enforces policies and procedures for shipping operations.
  • Promotes and enforces health and safety practices in accordance with Atlas Tube and OSHA standards.
  • Provides expertise, training, and guidance to all shipping areas.
  • Communicates short- and long-term objectives to the Warehouse team effectively.
  • Collaborates with production, logistics, quality, sales, production planning, and HR to improve processes.
  • Builds and maintains a positive, team-oriented environment among shipping personnel.
  • Oversees, supervises, trains, and disciplines shipping operations personnel.
  • Reviews daily shipping reports for compliance, resolving issues to minimize costs and prevent delays.
  • Ensures inventory accuracy is maintained.
  • Develops shipping, vacation, and training schedules for shipping personnel and coil receivers.
  • Evaluates employee performance objectively based on job requirements and behavioral indicators.
  • Reports suspected security incidents immediately and maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Delegates work with accurate, complete, and timely instructions.
  • Maintains regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Warehousing-related field preferred, OR a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in warehousing and shipping.
  • Knowledge of steel tube/pipe production preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to adapt quickly.
  • Working knowledge of warehousing, shipping, plant, industrial, and manufacturing concepts.
  • Skilled in decision-making, problem resolution, communication, and organizational time management.
  • Ability to multitask and manage effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience planning ahead to ensure on-time loading within 2 hours, including preloads.
  • 3PL experience, including JIT and rail loading, desired.
  • Proficient in JIT, SAP, MS Office Suite, Telia dashboard, and crane HMI.
