-Salary- $18 per hour

-We are seeking a dependable and motivated Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our manufacturing team in Strongsville, Ohio. This position is responsible for receiving incoming materials, preparing finished products for shipment, maintaining accurate inventory records, and coordinating shipping and receiving activities with internal departments and outside shipping companies.

-Hours are from 6:00am to 2:00pm

Responsibilities
    • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies
    • Unload and organize incoming shipments
    • Prepare customer orders and finished products for shipment
    • Pick, pack, label, and stage materials and products
    • Verify quantities and shipping documentation for accuracy
    • Coordinate shipments and deliveries with freight carriers and shipping companies
    • Communicate effectively with internal departments regarding shipping and receiving needs
    • Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records
    • Enter and update shipping and receiving information using computer systems
    • Load and unload trucks and delivery vehicles
    • Safely operate material-handling equipment as trained
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping and receiving area
    • Follow company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines
    • Perform other warehouse and material-handling duties as needed
Qualifications
    • Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred
    • Must be computer literate and comfortable using computers and standard business software
    • Ability to communicate effectively with internal employees, freight carriers, and shipping companies
    • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to read and follow shipping documents, labels, and instructions
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills
    • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Forklift experience is a plus
