Job Description

The Shipping Associate Lead will be responsible for the handling and storage of materials in appropriate locations. Associate will also pick/ship the customer orders. Paying close attention to detail is a must.

Responsibilities

• Safe handling and transport of high value, oversized manufactured products using mobile equipment.
• Product put-up to appropriate inventory locations.
• Raw material cycle counts.
• Oversee incoming/outgoing WIP goods.
• Interaction with multiple organization levels as needed to support warehouse and distribution needs.
• Cross functional responsibilities to include receiving/inventory control and/or shipping to support the Warehouse/Logistics needs.

  • Attitude – Maintains a positive demeanor while working under tight deadlines.
  • Collaboration – Develops relationships across multiple business units.
  • Organization/Work Management – Excellent ability to multitask and set priorities.

Qualifications

    • 1 year Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse – cross functional/ multi-department experience desired for maximum flexibility within the materials department.
    • Cycle count experience in manufacturing/warehouse environment.
    • Adherence to safety rules and regulations per company policy.
    • Should be skilled in MS Office including Excel. Oracle experience desired.
    • Experience in a warehouse environment is a plus.
