Job description

Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Associate

The Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Associate is a hands-on warehouse role responsible for receiving, inspecting, staging, documenting, and processing inbound and outbound shipments. The position maintains accurate receiving records, communicates shipment updates, and performs required equipment inspections.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments for quantity, accuracy, and damage.
  • Update and maintain Excel receiving logs and shipment history.
  • Track receipts and provide status updates to internal departments.
  • Respond to department inquiries regarding receiving requests and shipment status.
  • Stage inbound and outbound shipments and verify items against supporting documentation.
  • Audit staging areas and shipping/receiving documents for accuracy.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and required documentation.
  • Coordinate carrier pickups and deliveries and assist with loading/unloading.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and maintain required checklist and maintenance logs.
  • Provide weekly equipment inspection updates and report maintenance or safety concerns to the Warehouse Lead.
  • Maintain organized shipping, receiving, and staging areas.
  • Follow all warehouse procedures and safety requirements.
What You Bring To The Role:
  • 13 years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred.
  • Basic Microsoft Excel and data-entry skills.
  • Experience with shipping/receiving systems preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
  • Forklift certification preferred or required based on assigned duties.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on warehouse environment.
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift products throughout the workday.
  • Ability to frequently lift and move 2550 lbs.
  • Location: Onsite Chino, CA M-F, 8:30-5:30
