Hours:  7:30am – 4:00 (Monday -Friday); Position is a Temp-to-hire with direct hiring after 480 worked hours.

Pay:  $18.00

 

JOB Description:

The Warehouse/Shipping Assistant assists the Warehouse/Shipping manager in ensuring

that the orders are filled and shipped properly and based on order/packing

requirements, and making sure that the company ships the right product, to the

right customer, at the right time.

 

What you'll do as Warehouse/Shipping assistant at Mariplast NA:

• Main duties include:

Delivering products to/from packing stations with sit-down

forklift, manually lift and stack packages on pallets to prepare for

shipments, shrink-wrap pallets, load and unload trucks, organize and maintain

inventory, help supervisor with other duties as needed.

 

Requirements:

• Physically fit for the position

• 1-year stable work history

• 6 months of forklift experience

• Prior experience of stockroom, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory is a plus

• Exceptional problem solving and critical thinking and multitask skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work 40 hours per week

• Ability to work overtime as needed

• Ability to sit or stand for 8 to 10 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation

• Ability to lift up to 50 lb. repeatedly, with or without reasonable accommodation
