Warehouse Associates for Tire Warehouse in New Castle, DE!
Leading supplier of high-quality tires and related products.  Our client prides themselves on delivering exceptional service and value to their customers. They are currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associates to join their team.
As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the tire warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving tires off a delivery truck, stack and strap tires together for inventory, as well as maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and Inspect Shipments: Unload tires from delivery trucks, inspect for damage, and verify quantities against shipping documents.
  • Inventory Management: Stack and strap tires on a conveyor belt line for inventory.
  • Work closely with other warehouse staff and departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Lifting up to 80+lbs. for 8-10 hours.
  • Repetitive heavy lifting.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Warehouse Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy items (80+lbs), and stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Safety Mindset: Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and equipment operation.


Job Type: Full-Time Temp-to-Permanent
Schedule: Monday through Friday: Report time in varies: 7am, 8am, 9am. 9-10 hour work day with lunch break between 1pm-2pm.
Mandatory Saturday's If Needed during peak seasons: Spring and Fall.
Possible Overtime

Pay: $17.00 Per Hour 

Benefits Offered Once Hired on Permanently: Health, 401k, Paid Time Off
Pay Increase Once Hired On: $18.00 Per Hour
On DART bus line
Drug Test and Background Check Required.
