Summary:          The Warehouse Manager is responsible for ensuring all warehouse activities are completed timely and accurately.  This includes being responsible for receiving material, inventory management (proper placement into bins and overstock area that are managed per the inventory system); the material is picked accurately, properly packaged and processed in the system accurately and timely; that random cycle counts be initiated to ensure site inventory is accurate).  After the proper job material has been picked and properly packaged, it must be staged in a safe manner that is recorded for future callout.  The position requires that delivery vehicles are properly loaded with current EHS standards and are properly complied with; that the scheduling of delivery and or pickup of material is being completed in accordance to the customer needs; must be proficient in the use of computer systems. Current systems include:  Outlook, Word, Excel, Circet USA software packages (D365 – F&O, SIIM Web, and WMS) and customer systems.  Other general warehouse tasks may be required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Develop and lead a team of employees and contractors to accomplish performance objectives established for warehouse operations
  • Communicate effectively across multiple KGPCo organizations as required to meet objectives
  • Perform and assist floor employees in receiving material per documented processes as well as dispositioning non-conforming product, purchase order, or damaged shipments.
  • Lead the department in shipping orders and as required to meet customer delivery and quality level commitments
  • Ensure outbound shipments are worked in line with our documented procedures and processes.
  • Lead safety efforts involving warehouse operations, material handling and forklift operation
  • Ensure product is prepared for shipment to prevent damage by carriers
  • Manage returns in a timely manner to meet established internal, customer and supplier requirements
  • Maintaining accurate inventory utilizing Warehouse Management and Reporting Systems
  • Lead warehouse personnel in the inventory reporting, cycle counting, and reconciliation process.
  • Driving is an essential function of this position.
  • Ability to back up all warehouse employee functions including, but not limited to operation of pallet jacks, fork lifts, cable cutting machines, saws, nail guns, etc.
  • Meeting productivity standards and ensuring accuracy of work to ensure set standards for inventory accuracy and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain coverage for the operation with appropriate scheduling of direct reports
  • When issues are found, root cause analysis should be used in conjunction with contacting support groups or appropriate internal departments with problems so that they are resolved in a timely and proper manner
  • Conduct periodic department meetings to communicate company policy, process changes, workloads, safety topics.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and/or QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years related experience and/or training in a warehouse environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of RF scanning equipment, warehouse management systems and processes
  • High school or equivalent
  • 3+ years warehouse supervisory experience
  • Accurate and effective communication skills
  • Thinks critically and can problem solve
  • Good Judgment

  • Valid driver’s licenses and clean MVR

LANGUAGE SKILLS

 

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Pay Range in the United States: $60K - $90K based upon geography, skills, and experience.  May also be eligible for performance incentive opportunity based on company and individual goals and performance
