Job description

Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate position is a hands-on role responsible for material movements within the warehouse including, but not limited to, incoming deliveries, stocking materials, staging materials for upcoming projects, delivery/shipping activities, and inventory counts/accuracy. The Warehouse Associate will ensure the warehouse is always kept clean and organized. This individual must be able to operate a forklift, move inventory, possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate a team player mentality.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Receives items utilizing a 3-way match process verifying packing slip, physical product, and purchase order.
  • Accurately processed receipt transactions and allocations within the ERP System.
  • Ensure items are correctly stocked physically and systematically in the correct bin locations.
  • Process shipments/transfers in the Epicor P21 System and process within the logistics provider systems.
  • Assist walk-in customers in identifying the appropriate products and solutions for their requirements.
  • Creates customer orders in the Epicor P21 system for walk-in customers/front counter sales.
  • Processes customer returns (RMAs) according to the established business processes/guidelines.
  • Performs daily cycle counts and participates within the quarterly physical inventory count process.
  • Performs kitting and hand assembly of pipe stack kits for ease of use for customers/field team.
  • Safely utilizes warehouse equipment (i.e., banding equipment, cutting tools, stairs, forklifts).
  • Ability to exhibit and maintain a helpful, friendly, positive attitude even during stressful situations.
  • Maintains a clean well-organized warehouse that is representative of an industry-leading supplier.
  • Adheres to all company Rules, Guidelines, SOPs, and Work Instructions.
  • Perform any other duties or assignments as directed by Management.
Qualifications and Education Requirements Competencies
  • Fluent reading, writing, and speaking of the English language
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with ERP/accounting software (Epicor Prophet 21, QuickBooks, FreshBooks, or similar)
  • Ability to operate a forklift safely and effectively
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Education, Experience, Certifications
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent).
  • Associate degree (or equivalent) in logistics, business, or supply chain management preferred.
  • Ability to fluently read, write, and speak the English language.
  • 3-5 years of warehouse management experience. (Preferred)
  • Experience and proficiency within Epicor Prophet 21. (Preferred)
