Job description

Dock, Door & Racking Technician

Pay Range: $24–$40/hr + Take Home Company Truck

We're looking for experienced technicians to install and repair dock levelers, overhead doors, racking systems, and warehouse equipment. If you have strong mechanical skills and work well in a team environment, this is a great long-term opportunity! 


What You’ll Do:
  • Travel to customer facilities to install, maintain, and repair dock equipment and overhead doors
  • Assist with warehouse racking installation projects, including assembling, erecting, and setting engineered products at customer sites
  • Complete installations and service work with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to safety
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform repairs as needed
  • Communicate clearly with customers and internal team members while on job sites
  • Provide daily progress and completion updates to supervisors
  • Ensure proper use, care, and security of company-owned tools and equipment
  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct as a representative of the company
  • Work collaboratively with the service, sales, and project teams to ensure successful job completion
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
  • Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned 
What You Need:
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs. frequently and work in active job-site environments
  • Ability to read basic measurements, use hand and power tools, and perform hands-on work
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with mechanical, electrical, construction, or welding work preferred
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites and work overtime as needed
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
