Job description

Warehouse Clerk

Warehouse/Inventory Clerk is part of an operations team that conducts all warehouse, transfer tasks, and assists with inventory assignments. The Warehouse/Inventory Clerk is responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties, including shipping and receiving, unloading and loading trucks, fulfilling purchase orders, transferring product to stores and keeping the warehouse stocked with essential equipment. The Warehouse/Inventory Clerk will also assist with tasks and responsibilities as assigned by both the Warehouse and Inventory Supervisor.

Job Requirements:

  • Receive trucks and unload merchandise
  • Stack merchandise on racks
  • Operate forklift as necessary
  • Stock warehouse with tools, tape, wrap needed for delivery
  • Transfer product to stores
  • Operate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Check in merchandise and affix labels
  • Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute to stores
  • Move materials off racks and package for shipment
  • Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items.
  • Follow all safety codes and guidelines
  • Record amounts of materials or items received
  • Perform facilities maintenance
  • Carry out tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor and Inventory Supervisor
  • Identify damage, loss, or surplus of goods and materials stored in the warehouse
  • Maintain records of all activities and processes pertaining to the warehouse and inventory
  • Maintain professional appearance and customer interaction to high Georgia Spa Company standards
  • Transfers from warehouse to store locations

Requirements:

  • Occasional HEAVY LIFTING
  • Computer knowledge and experience
  • Ability to work independently to accomplish tasks at hand
  • Driver's License
  • Clean driving record
